Shikakai, known as the “fruit for the hair,” is obtained from the pod-like fruit of the Acacia Concinna tree, which grows in the warm, dry plains of central India. It serves as a natural alternative to shampoo, gently cleansing and conditioning the hair without stripping away its natural oils. To use, mix the powder with an appropriate amount of water to create a paste and apply it to your hair, replacing regular soap or shampoo. For optimal hair care, you can also combine shikakai powder with hesh amla powder and hesh aritha powder.
